Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust (BSUH) is an acute teaching hospital working across two sites: the Royal Sussex County Hospital (RSCH) and the Royal Alexandra Children’s hospital (RACH) both in Brighton, with the Princess Royal Hospital (PRH) which is located in Haywards Heath which is approximately 12 miles north of Brighton in the heart of West Sussex. Our hospital site in Brighton is undergoing a significant redevelopment, with the building of a brand new hospital with new major trauma centre status, including a helipad.

We provide District General hospital services to our local population in and around Brighton and Hove, Mid Sussex and the western part of East Sussex. We also provide specialised and tertiary service for patients across Sussex and the South East of England. We treat over three quarters of a million patients each year and employ over 7,000 staff. Central to our ambition is our role as an academic centre, and provision of high quality teaching and cutting edge research and innovation.

We are recruiting Staff Nurses to join our professional and motivated nursing teams, where every day brings new challenges and great rewards. Successful candidates will need to be motivated, dynamic and innovative while possessing strong organisational and interpersonal skills and will be committed to excellence and the delivery of evidence based person centred care.

As one of the UKs foremost NHS Trusts for teaching, tertiary and trauma care, this is an exceptional opportunity for nurses who believe they have the right aptitude and desire to learn and develop new skills. We have opportunities for highly motivated Band 5 nurses ready to join our teams across many wards and departments.
