An exciting opportunity to join our diverse renal Outpatients Department (OPD) team has become available. The role involves direct clinical care for patients with kidney failure (and their families), helping support treatment choices and ongoing care.

You will have opportunity to showcase and develop your renal skills and experience, creating individual care plans that fit patient need and help them make life-changing decisions for dialysis and treatment. You will have the interpersonal skills, competence, compassion and sensitivity to build positive and trusting relationship with patients and the multi-disciplinary team.

This will help you lead and support the nursing team caring for outpatients attending nurse led clinics, walk-in assessments, patient education, and treatments within the day case unit. Occasionally these may be at renal satellite locations in Worthing, Crawley, Bexhill and Eastbourne.

If not already a prescriber then training, support and funding is offered to complete the Independent Prescribers course. Ideally within two years to enhance the above aspects of the role, improve patient experience and clinical leadership.

Being a car driver is an advantage.
