Are you looking for a new challenge;  to develop your safeguarding skills and application of the Mental Capacity Act in clinical practice?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Safeguarding Adults team. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who has a passion for safeguarding adults at risk and can also provide support and training for staff across all disciplines and specialities.

The post-holder will be expected to work in collaboration with the Lead Nurse Safeguarding Adults, to deliver education programmes for Safeguarding Adults (including Prevent), Mental Capacity Act and DoLS. They will also act as a resource for staff providing expert advice to support the care of patients with complex needs.

The post-holder will work collaboratively with the Safeguarding Adults team and multi-agency partners to undertake, or support others to undertake, Section 42 safeguarding enquiries or other safeguarding investigations as appropriate.

 

  • Posts in the Trust are subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Criminal Records Bureau to check for any previous criminal spent and unspent convictions, reprimands, and cautions.
  • Appointment to this role will commence at the lowest salary point unless confirmed otherwise by HR Employment Services (Recruitment, Administration & Terms and Conditions)
