We are searching for an enthusiastic and motivated Paediatric Nurse at Band 6 Level to fulfill a full time post 12 months maternity leave cover.

Our 12 bedded inpatient ward for children and young people work closely with the Neonatal Trevor Mann Baby Unit and undertake a variety of complex surgery as well as elective and emergency care.

Should you become a member of this developing ward you will gain skills in complex interventions and work as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

You have the opportunity to join a dedicated Children's Hospital which was rated outstanding by the CQC and is a tertiary referral service for surgery.

You will need to be an experienced dynamic paediatric nurse with excellent clinical knowledge, good leadership and interpersonal skills. You will be a forward thinking practitioner who will be able to lead and motivate the team to deliver high quality nursing care to children and young people on this busy acute surgical ward.

Posts in the Trust are subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Criminal Records Bureau to check for any previous criminal spent and unspent convictions, reprimands, and cautions.

Appointment to this role will commence at the lowest salary point unless confirmed otherwise by HR Employment Services (Recruitment, Administration & Terms and Conditions)
